LAHORE, Oct 09 (APP):A Lahore High Court (LHC) division bench on Wednesday granted protective bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Salman Akram Raja in two cases registered by Hassanabdal police, until October 16.
The court directed the PTI secretary general to approach the relevant court by October 16.
The bench, headed by Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi, heard the petition filed by the PTI leader for the purpose.
Salman Akram Raja, through his petition, stated that Hassanabdal police had registered two cases against him on terrorism charges. He submitted that while he wished to approach the relevant court, he feared arrest. He requested the court to grant him protective bail.
